Our cantor leads the congregation in the hymn and Mass parts at each liturgy. In addition they are members of the schola and of the choir. Our cantors also engage is some solo work on special occasions. They are also learned in the singing of Gregorian Chant. Our prayer is:

God the maker of all that is,
of all that can be seen,
of all that can be heard,
hear the prayer of your people
and make our voices resound with your praise,
that they might please you
with words and melodies
that try to show
the wonder that is you.
