Ministers of the Body help the clergy to distribute the Lord's Sacred Body to the congregation. To serve as a Minister of the Body, you must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. They are typically scheduled for this ministry every month, and the schedule is posted ahead of time in the sacristy and on-line on the parish website. The EMs, even when scheduled, should remember to check if there are enough clergy to distribute Holy Communion, and under no circumstances should an EM distribute Communion when there are enough clergy at Mass.  All training for this ministry is provided.

Currently, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Precious Blood is not offered during Mass.
