Are you a young Catholic man who is being called to the priesthood? Do you love Jesus and his Catholic Church? Have you considered a vocation with an open heart and taken the time to learn what the priesthood is all about? Are you ready to find out what God has in store for your life? If your answer to each of these questions is "yes," then consider attending the first meeting of The Melchizedek Project, on Thursday, January 21, at 6:30 pm at Christ the King Parish in Milwaukie. For more information, contact Deacon Busse at deacon@ctk.
The full week following Christmas Day is known as the Octave of Christmas, and the celebration of the Lord's Nativity is continued throughout the entire week. During this time of the coronavirus pandemic, if you are not able to come to Mass on Christmas Day, consider signing-up to come on one of the other days in the Octave. You will receive just as many graces. To sign-up for Mass, just use the links on the homepage of this website, or call the Parish Office at (503) 775-6731.
This Tuesday and Wednesday, January 5 and 6, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered in the church from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm,, and the access code to the church's side door is available by calling the Parish Office. Please come and spend an hour with Our Lord.
If you have switched to online giving, but are still receiving donation envelopes in the mail, please let us know in the Parish Office so we can discontinue your envelopes. Sending out unnecessary donation envelopes costs our parish, and any opportunity to save money is greatly appreciated.
